Bullet Journals and Brush Work
I don’t know about you but I have a sneaking suspicion that the weeks are flying by faster and faster! I hope you’ve been having a lovely week. This week I worked on my sister’s bullet journal as a bit of a personal project. She hates making the spreads meanwhile I love it so it’s my annual Christmas present to her.
I shared my flops and faults in a video all about using masking fluid (and got some fantastic advice in the comments)!
I played quite a bit with gouache for a project I’m currently working on (find out more over on Patreon!) so I shared this little peek from my sketchbook over on Instagram. I’ve loved painting before line work, it’s getting me familiar with playing with brushes again!
To top the week off I worked on some kindergarten (pre-K in US terms) portraits for my Mum as a bit of a side project to help her out with end of year portfolios!
It’s been a fun and busy week so I’m glad to be getting back to something a little more quiet next week! I’ve got big plans for the next few months in terms of self motivated projects and plans so if you’d like to be ahead of the game visit me over on Patreon to find out more.
Have a great weekend, thank you for being here!
